Klein Products is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Maintenance Foreman to join our team. This position provides hands-on leadership within the Maintenance Department and works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industrial plant operations, equipment, and maintenance processes and will be comfortable leading by example. This position requires someone who can provide positive direction to the maintenance team while remaining actively involved in troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, training, and day-to-day maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and support to maintenance personnel.
- Assist with scheduling maintenance workloads and establishing repair priorities based on production needs.
- Train and develop maintenance personnel on equipment, company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Maintenance SOPs.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests for all departments and ensure work is completed and followed up in a timely manner.
- Manage maintenance parts, minimum/maximum inventory levels, and preventive maintenance (PM) requirements.
- Ensure required daily, weekly, monthly, and annual equipment inspections are completed and properly documented.
- Promote and maintain a high level of safety awareness and safe work practices at all times.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and established SOPs.
- Support and participate in daily 5S activities and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, dependability, and a positive attitude when working with employees throughout the organization.
- Lead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic, accountability, teamwork, and commitment to company standards.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess:
- Previous industrial maintenance experience; leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Ability to effectively lead, train, and provide direction to maintenance employees.
- Ability to prioritize maintenance activities based on safety, operational, and production requirements.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
- Willingness and ability to perform hands-on maintenance work alongside the maintenance team.
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
